Leadership found a new expression at Mody Vidhyalaya, where young girl students stepped confidently into their roles during the grand Leadership Induction Ceremony for the academic session 2025–26. Held in the school’s Haridas Auditorium, the event unfolded in a dignified and disciplined atmosphere, celebrating the spirit of service, responsibility, and student-led leadership.

The occasion was graced by Sanjeev Kumar Agarwal, Vice-Principal of Mody University, who attended as the Chief Guest. He was warmly welcomed with a bouquet by the school’s Vice Principal, Dr. Deepika Sood, who also inaugurated the ceremony with the traditional lighting of the lamp and formal announcements.

The ceremony commenced on a cultural note with the soulful rendition of the school’s Kulgeet“Nirmanon Ke Pavan Yug Mein.” This was followed by an energetic and synchronized band performance by the girl students, leaving the audience mesmerised.

Each of these young leaders was ceremoniously honored with sashes and badges by Mr. Agarwal and Dr. Sood, symbolizing their new responsibilities.

Captains and Vice-Captains of the school’s four houses — Gargi, Kasturba, Lilavati, and Sarojini — were also inducted. In addition, class representatives and hostel heads were nominated and awarded badges by Senior School Coordinator Dr. Lalita Singh and Mrs. Chhagan Samour.

In a defining moment, Dr. Deepika Sood administered the oath of leadership, loyalty, and service, binding the new student leaders to their responsibilities with a sense of purpose and commitment.

Adding a touch of cultural richness, the students presented a spiritual dance performance titled ‘Guru: Devo Maheshwar’, which brought alive the values of Indian culture and reverence for knowledge.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by newly-appointed Head Student Narayani Arora, who expressed her gratitude to the chief guest, teachers, parents, and all present. She emphasized that the event wasn’t just about titles, but about embracing discipline, accountability, and a lifelong commitment to service.

With young leaders now at the helm, Mody Vidhyalaya’s future looks bright, bold, and full of promise.
