Gita Contest registration date extended, world students enrol for the competition

Gita Contest organised each year under the aegis of Hare Krishna Movement is drawing a fabulous response from students from across the world, however, in wake of COVID third wave, the date of registration has been extended.

Gita contest dates

The date of registration in Gita contest to be organised in the year 2022 has been extended to April and May months.

While the junior group competition will be held on 24th April, the senior group competition will be held on 22nd May.

Those till class X are being included under junior category while others above it are in senior groups.

Gita Contest syllabus

Under this competition, chapters 7 to 12 of Shrimad Bhagavad Gita (as it is) have been included in the competition. The competition will be conducted both online and offline. 

The participants who choose online can give their question paper from the computer sitting at home, whereas the competition will be organised at two places in Jaipur for the participants who choose offline competition. 

Since the competition is also online, participants from all over the world are registering themselves. 

Gita contest registration date

Giving detailed information about the competition, the convener of the competition, Shri Siddha Swaroop Das said that due to the third wave of corona, the last date for registration in the competition has been changed to February 28. 

Every contestant is being given a copy of Bhagavad Gita free of cost upon registration. 

You can get free copy of your Bhagvad Gita by registering for the competition online by visiting the website https://bit.ly/bhagavadgitacontest21 or else he can visit any of the 19 places in Jaipur and get his copy.

Gita contest winners’ prizes

After the competition, prizes will be given to the winners of junior group on the basis of category in cycle, smart watch, kindle, VR board, while the winners of senior group will be given cash prizes on the basis of category in which first prize starts from Rs. 25,000/.

Shri Siddha Swaroop Das ji further told that for the preparation of the competition, Gita classes are also being organised daily on the YouTube channel at 4 pm on each verse of the seventh chapter of the Gita. With the help of these classes, not only will the students prepare for competition, but the correct knowledge of Gita will reach the people.
