Dalai Lama conferred with dPal rNgam Duston Award

‘dPal rNgam Duston’, the highest civilian honour of Ladakh was recently conferred to Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama for his contribution towards humanity.

dPal rNgam Duston Award:

  • This 6th dPal rNgam Duston Award was conferred to Dalai Lama by Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh.
  • dPal rNgam Duston is celebrated to mark the foundation day of LAHDC at Sindhu Ghat.

Ladakh and Tibet, connected through the Indus River, have several religious and cultural similarities. The spiritual leader noted that, changing climatic condition a big cause of concern and asked everyone to be environmentally conscious in their action.
