A new record has been made after 15.76 lakh diyas have been illuminated at 37 ghats of Lord Shri Ram in Ayodhya. CM Yogi took the certificate of this record in the presence of Prime Minister Modi. PM Modi performed aarti by worshipping River Saryu on the occasion.
He also had a chance to see the Ram Katha through a laser show at Ram Ki Paidi. This was followed by a view of digital fireworks. Earlier, the PM had a darshan of Ram Lalla.
PM Modi said, “There was a time when questions were raised on the existence of Shri Ram in our own country. As a result, the development of religious places in our country was left behind. In the last eight years, we have worked on the development of religious places.”
The PM further said, “The values that Lord Ram inculcated in his words, thoughts, governance, administration are the inspiration for Sabka Saath-Sabka Vikas. Ram does not leave anyone behind. Ram does not turn his face out of duty. Rama, therefore, embodies the spirit of India, which believes that our rights are self-evident by our duties.”
