The Amaravati Drone Show made history by setting five Guinness World Records during the National Drone Summit at Punnami Ghat, Vijayawada. The event received praise for its impressive achievements, including the Largest Planet Formation, Largest Landmark Creation, Largest Plane Formation, Largest Flag Display, and Aerial Logo Display. These accomplishments mark a significant milestone for the state.
Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and Union Minister Rammohan Naidu inaugurated the event, showcasing an astonishing display of 5,500 drones, the largest of its kind in India. Thousands of visitors flocked to Krishna Beach to witness the spectacle, with five designated viewing areas established throughout the city for residents.Alongside the drone display, attendees enjoyed a spectacular laser show and cultural performances, adding to the event’s allure.
Representatives from the Guinness World Records were on hand to present certificates to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in recognition of the remarkable achievements. During the event, Naidu also awarded checks to the winners of the drone hackathon, highlighting the state’s commitment to technological innovation. The presence of state ministers and senior officials further emphasized the significance of the program for the region.
