Bollywood power couple Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are all set to move into their luxurious new bungalow in Mumbai’s upscale Pali Hill locality this Diwali. A note, reportedly from the couple, has surfaced on social media announcing their housewarming and requesting privacy during this personal milestone.

Official Statement
In their message, the couple expressed gratitude and requested respectful boundaries from the media and public:
“Dear media friends, Diwali means gratitude and new beginnings. As we move into our new home, we are grateful for your love and support. We hope you will always respect our privacy and that of our family, home, and good neighbors. This festive season, we send all our love to you and your family. Happy Diwali!

A Legacy Home Worth ₹250 Crore
The newly completed six-storey bungalow, estimated to be worth ₹250 crore, is not just a new address—it is a continuation of the Kapoor family legacy. The property, named Krishna Raj, honors Ranbir’s late grandmother, Krishna Raj Kapoor. Originally owned by Raj Kapoor and Krishna Raj, the land was passed down to Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, and is now inherited by Ranbir and Alia.
Reportedly, the bungalow will be registered in the name of their daughter, Rhea Kapoor, symbolizing the next generation’s stake in the Kapoor legacy. Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, will also live with them in the new home.
Previous Privacy Concerns
In August, a video showing the then-under-construction bungalow went viral on social media. Alia Bhatt took to Instagram to express her concern, calling it a serious breach of privacy:
“I understand that space is limited in a city like Mumbai. Sometimes your window overlooks another person’s home, but that doesn’t give anyone the right to film a private home and post those videos online.”
She continued:
“A video of our home, which is still under construction, has been recorded and circulated by several publications without our knowledge or consent. This is clearly a violation of privacy and a serious security issue. Filming or photographing someone’s private space without permission isn’t content. It’s a violation. It should never be considered normal.”
Alia ended her post with a strong appeal:
“Just think… would you tolerate a video from inside your home being shared publicly without your knowledge? None of us would. A humble but stern appeal: If you find such content online, please don’t forward or share it. And to our friends in the media who posted these photos and videos, I request you to remove them immediately. Thank you.”
Location: Pali Hill, Bandra West
The new Kapoor residence is located in Pali Hill, Bandra West—one of Mumbai’s most prestigious and star-studded neighborhoods. The area is home to many Bollywood legends, including Dilip Kumar and Sanjay Dutt. The road outside their bungalow is named after Padma Shri Dev Anand.
Pali Hill is easily accessible via Bandra and Khar railway stations, with rickshaw or walking routes leading directly to the location. Locals are well-acquainted with the Kapoor home, and it remains a landmark in the area.
