For millions across the world, Shah Rukh Khan isn’t just an actor he’s an emotion. He’s the warmth in “Palat,” the thrill in “Don’t underestimate the power of a common man,” and the hope in “Picture abhi baaki hai mere dost.”

And now, the King is returning to where it all began, the big screen. India’s leading multiplex chain, PVR Inox, is honouring SRK with a Birthday Film Festival, a two-week-long celebration of his cinematic legacy.
Starting October 31 just ahead of his 60th birthday on November 2, the festival will re-release his biggest blockbusters across 75 cinemas in over 30 cities.

The line-up feels like a nostalgia trip through Indian cinema’s most cherished moments – Chennai Express, Devdas, Dil Se, Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na, and Jawan.

Each film, a chapter in the story of how one man redefined stardom. “Cinema has always been my home,” SRK said in a heartfelt note. “These movies are not just my stories; they belong to the audience who have lovingly embraced them over the last 33 years.”

From Raj waiting at a train station to Kabir Khan motivating his team, SRK has been the heartbeat of generations. Watching his films again on the big screen isn’t just nostalgia it’s homecoming.

As Niharika Bijli of PVR Inox puts it, “Shah Rukh Khan is more than a global icon, he’s an emotion.” So as the lights dim and that iconic silhouette appears once again, one thing’s certain the King of Hearts is back, and India’s love story with him continues.
