
The Bollywood classic Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, directed by Aditya Chopra and starring Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, marks its 30th anniversary since its October 20, 1995 release.
The film, which grossed over ₹102 crore worldwide and won 10 Filmfare Awards, continues its unprecedented daily screenings at Mumbai’s Maratha Mandir theater, selling over 6.5 crore tickets. Yash Raj Films and the cast honored the milestone with tributes, highlighting its role in redefining romance in Hindi cinema and boosting global audiences.
Kajol who played the role of Simran in the film thanked everyone associated with the folm and said that the film won everybody’s hearts and minds.
Yashraj Films also expressed his happiness on the occasion and thanked everyone across the world for giving a whopping response to the film.
