Muslim girl became an expert in Sanskrit

Muslim girl, Ghazala won 5 gold medals for being the best Sanskrit Student on the campus of Lucknow University.

Language knows no barriers. Ghazala has made a remarkable statement about that. A student of Masters, Ghazala has made a distinct name on the campus with her dedication to learning the language. Ghazala’s name was announced for the Gold Medal ay before Covid 19. However, she was not awarded due to the precautions implied by the government.

Prof Shashi Shukla during a faculty-level medal distribution ceremony, honored Ghazala with the awards for being the best student in Masters in Sanskrit. Ghazala has a wide knowledge of 5 languages including English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, and Sanskrit. It is a part of honor as she is the daughter of Daily Wager.

Ghazala stated, “These medals are won not by me but by my brothers — Shadab and Nayab — who left school and began working in a garage at the age of 13 and 10 years respectively so that I could continue to study”

Therefore, due to her dedication to the language she was a famous person on the campus. She was fluent in Sanskrit which gave her a lot of opportunities to showcase her talent. Ghazala used to recite Sanskrit Shlokas, Gayatri Mantra, and Saraswati Vandana during the cultural programs organized by the university.
