The Ministry of Education will host Kashi Tamil Sangamam (KTS) 4.0 from 2 December 2025, reinforcing historic cultural bonds between Tamil Nadu and Kashi. Designed under the national integration vision of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, the programme combines linguistic exchange, heritage exploration and academic collaboration to strengthen India’s shared civilisational identity.
Expanded Framework For Cultural Engagement
The event is coordinated by IIT Madras and Banaras Hindu University, with support from multiple Union ministries and the Uttar Pradesh government. Since its start in 2022, the Sangamam has grown into a major cultural bridge, reconnecting knowledge traditions while encouraging deeper participation from scholars, youth and community groups.
