Despite being the fourth richest man in the world and the wife of the wealthiest man in India, Nita comes from a family that is middle class. To get to her college or school, she used to board a local bus.
Later, in 2014, Nita Ambani became the first woman director on the Reliance board. She founded “Her Circle” in 2022, a Reliance Foundation initiative to elevate and strengthen women.
Nonetheless, she became a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) as the first woman from India.
