Dubai Sets Another Record with the World’s Longest Floating Pool

After astounding the world with the Burj Khalifa, the tallest building on the planet, Dubai has achieved yet another architectural marvel. The city is now home to the world’s longest floating swimming pool, an engineering masterpiece that is bound to leave visitors in awe. Spanning an impressive 120 meters, this pool is suspended between two towering skyscrapers, offering a swimming experience unlike any other.

This extraordinary pool is part of a pair of twin skyscrapers located in Dubai’s Zabeel area, collectively known as “The Link.” What makes this structure even more remarkable is that it is the tallest cantilevered building in the world. A cantilever is a structure that is supported only on one end, with no support underneath—a feat of engineering that defies gravity.

Dubbed “The Infinity Pool,” this aquatic wonder is integrated into a 230-meter-long structure that connects the two towers. The pool offers a range of luxurious amenities, and from the moment you see it, the entire structure resembles a massive glass corridor seemingly floating in mid-air—a testament to modern engineering and architectural prowess.

Adding to the thrill, a six-lane highway runs directly beneath The Link, meaning that while swimmers enjoy the pool, traffic flows underneath them. The cantilever, standing 25 meters high and wide, spans three floors and serves as a major thoroughfare for hotel guests and residents in the building.

However, this unique experience comes at a price. Visitors and residents in Dubai can access the pool with a day pass, which costs approximately $272 (around ₹22,000) per person, making it an exclusive luxury. Depending on the amenities you choose, the price can soar to over $10,000 (₹8 lakhs). For those seeking an even more lavish experience, the top 30 floors of the building offer rooms with breathtaking views, as well as access to a pool club and a restaurant located at the top of The Link.

Dubai’s new floating pool is more than just a swimming facility—it’s an experience that combines luxury, engineering brilliance, and breathtaking views, setting yet another record for a city known for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible. This architectural wonder is expected to attract tourists and residents alike, eager to be a part of Dubai’s latest groundbreaking achievement.
