India is one of the most prominent gurudwara which is associated with the eighth Sikh Guru, Guru Har Krishna and with the holy river ‘Sarovar’ inside it. Noticeable by its golden dome and tall flagpole, Nishan Sahi and was constructed in 1783 and rebuilt in 1947.
The gurudwara inaugurated the cheapest diagnostic centre with an aim to provide healthcare to the poor people. It was initiative by the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee (DSGMC). The kidney dialysis hospital was opened in March, 2021 inside the Gurudwara premises.

There is no cash or billing counter inside the hospital – As decided by the Gurudwara management committee, it has no billing counter to ensure that the patients are getting free treatment and are not begin robbed unlike other hospitals.
The Diagnosis Machine Includes – Four machines for dialysis, and a machine each for ultrasound, X-Ray and MRI, these all machines are a donation of worth 6 crore.
All the medical tests are at affordable price for poor and needy- This was the main aim of the dialysis center to provide expensive medial treatments at affordable price so that poor people can also avail those services.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) services will be available for just Rs 50 for the needy poeple. And for other general public, an MRI scan will cost Rs 800. A doctors committee is there which decides who needs a concession in treatment.
X-Ray and ultrasound are also available for lower income people at the cost of just Rs 150.
The outstation patients can stay at Gurudwara for free- The family and patients with financial problems can stay at Gurudwara rooms and can have meals at langar. A very great initiative by the committee for the needy peoples.
