Startling Birla Mandir of Nagda is one such place which makes Nagda famous. We know about Birla Temples that are built by Birla Family who are leading industrialist. There are almost 14 Temples are built across the country like Delhi , Hyderabad, Kolkata,  Kurukshetra , Shahad, Bhopal, Jaipur, Sharma Peeth, Patna, Varanasi, Renukoot, Akola, Brajrajnagar.

The first Birla Temple was built in 1939 in Delhi collectively by Jugal Kishore Birla and his brothers, as well their father. Later temples have been built by, and are managed by different branches of the family.

Architecture-

The architectural style of Birla Mandir Nagda is a blend of Eastern and Northern styles of temple architecture. The top of the temple sprinkle some features of east Indian temples.
This temple is  made up of sandstone and this temple is gloriously designed by artisans. This temple has stares on all four sides as we stare down we see greenery all around.

Greenery-

The whole Temple is covered form gardens. The vast expanse of garden is awe-inspiring as you enter the . The huge spread of greenery is pleasant to eyes which accentuate the vibe of the place.

Fountain-

As we enter the temple , there is a beautiful fountain which enhance the beauty of this sanctuary. Under this fountain there is a deity of God Shree Sheshayi Narayan which is made up of sandstone.
The most interesting fact about  fountain is that people throw coins under the water and it appears clearly as the water is flow like mirror.

Sculptures-

Birla Temple Nagda is also known as Shree Sheshayi Narayan Mandir. It is a Vishnu Temple and there are some small temples of Radha Krishna, Ganesh jii, Hanuman jii inside the temple. And this temple has so many deities carved lively in sandstone,  there are so many beautiful carved images of God and godess on the column, walls, roof and beams. You can spend hours watching this beautiful sculptures.

Environment-

Along with great infrastructure this temple has great lawns and flowers beds for the picnic.
Environment of Birla Mandir is prestine and indescribable. In mornings, the fresh breeze, tranquil environment and chirping of birds greet you as you seek the blessing of the God.

How to reach Birla Temple, Nagda?

Birla Temple is easily accessed from the town as it is near to Nagda railway station. The distance is somewhat of 2 kilometers
