The seven 7 wonders of the world situated in cities, mountains and desert are distinctive, unique and wondrous, attracting millions of visitors each year.  These attractions might be on the bucket list of thousands.

Well, Kota has something that can give you glimpses of seven wonders. You can now witness all of them in a single go as Seven Wonders Park in Kota comprises miniatures of all these 7 unique structures.  Aakanksha Umath reports…

Brief Synthesis 

The 7 wonders park in Kota include the Taj Mahal, the Great Pyramid, the Eiffel Tower, the Leaning Tower, Christ the Redeemer of Brazil, the Colosseum, and the Statue of Liberty. This unique project took almost 150 workers and the final cost of the immense project was 20 crore. It was constructed under the guidance of the Urban Development Department.

Seven Wonders park

  It was opened in 2013 with the main purpose of increasing tourism in the city.  These beautiful miniatures are standing on the bank of the Kishore Sagar Lake, which is adding stars to its beauty.  Every day it welcomes countless tourists. 

This park has also attracted filmmakers. The blockbuster ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ was shot in this park and after that, the park became popular. 

Places to visit in Seven Wonders

  1. Colosseum Rome

The first thing one can get to see, when entering Seven Wonders Park, is Colosseum Rome. It is a huge sports stadium in Rome and built in 1970. 

2. Pyramid Giza

The Great Pyramid of Giza is the largest Egyptian pyramid built in 2550 BC and, counted among the seven wonders of the world.

  3. Taj Mahal-

A sample of the architectural wonder ‘Taj Mahal’ of India, has also been built nearby. The construction of the Taj Mahal was started in 1632 AD and it took 15 years and thousands of workers to give final shape to it. It is considered as a token of love because it was built by Shah Jahan in memory of Mumtaz. 

4. Statue of Liberty –

The statue of Liberty has been standing in America since 1886. And the total weight of the Statue of Liberty is around 225 tons. You might not know the full name of it, which is Liberty Enlightening the World That Teaches Education to the Independent World.  A copy of this beautiful structure is located in Seven Wonders Park in Kota. 

5. Leaning Tower of Pisa

  There is a tilted tower in Italy with 7 floors. The construction of the Tower was started on August 14, 1173 AD and took 199 years to get completed.  The leaning structure of the Tower of Pisa can be seen in Seven Wonders Park of Kota.

6. Christ the Redeemer-

  The second largest statue in the world made of cement was built in 1931. 

7. Eiffel Tower

  The world’s tallest creation , the Eiffel Tower, is the most alluring and popular site in the world. It is named after the engineer Gustave Eiffel, whose company designed and built this tower in Paris, France. 

Best time to visit the seven wonders park, Kota

Well, there is no particular season or day to visit this amazing tourist attraction. However, the best time to relish in the park is after the sunset. The lake and lights of the park appear pleasing and soothing to the eyes.
